While this is an extremely simple Bitcoin conversion, I figured I’d create this BTC converter just in case someone really wanted it. So, here it is, my BTC and mBTC (and now, bits and Satoshis and USD and EUR and GBP) converter. We use the CryptoCompare Price Index for every USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP conversion. Sollte das wirklich zutreffen, was passiert dann mit dem Bitcoin?
Positiv finde ich, dass dieser dann endlich „gesellschaftsfähig“ wird. Doch wird er wirklich angenommen? Und können bis dahin die Skalierungsprobleme gelöst werden? Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass, falls dies wirklich ein Erfolg wird, dass sehr viele Transaktionen abgearbeitet werden müssen. Und passiert dies nicht in einer annehmbaren Zeit und mit geringen Transaktionskosten, führt dies schnell zu einer Frustration. Und dann ist auch wieder schnell Ende mit Amazon&Bitcoin.

Meint ihr das wird wirklich eintreten?

Ich glaub ja nicht wirklich dran… Glaube – wie es auch in dem Artikel steht – ist es noch zu unsicher für Amazon und andere Händler. Das braucht noch einige Monate bis es soweit ist. Ich glaube aber, dass sie sich mit der Blockchain beschäftigen – eventuell um auch einen eigenen Coin (AmazonCoin?) zu erstellen.

Segwit2x?

Weiß jemand wie es eigentlich mit Segwit2x weitergeht? Segwit wurde ja letzten Monat aktiviert und somit müssten die Transaktionskosten deutlich geringer und die Transaktionsgeschwindigkeit deutlich schenller sein, oder? Doch wie geht es mit dem 2x weiter? Hier sollte doch die Blockgröße auf 2 MB erhöht werden, aber aktuell ist diese noch bei 1 MB oder sehe ich das falsch?

Wie du selbst geschrieben hast, wurde Segwit erfolgreich aktiviert. Es dauert jedoch, bis es Bitcoin-Adressen mit Segwit-Unterstützung gibt. Eine Wallet, die bereits Adressen mit Segwit anbietet, ist die Ledger-Hardware-Wallet. Somit ist dies eher ein schleichender Prozess, bis es (fast) nur noch Segwit-Transaktionen gibt.

Rund um die 2X-Aktivierung wurde es in letzter Zeit sehr still. Ursprünglich war die Aktivierung der 2MB-Blöcke im November 2017 geplant. Wie hier der aktuelle Code-Stand ist, ist uns aktuell nicht klar.

Was ist mit dem Bitcoin los?

Weiß jemand was gerade mit dem Bitcoin los ist? Aktuell sieht es ja nicht so rosig aus, oder?
Nach dem Höchststand von fast 4200 Euro ist er auf fast 2700 innerhalb weniger Tage abgefallen und jetzt dümpelt er so bei 3000 rum. Lohnt es sich hier noch zu investieren oder war es nur ein Hype?

Ich glaube, dass es aktuell nur eine Verschnaufpause ist, bis der Bitcoin und alle anderen Kryptowährungen richtig zünden – auch wenn die Verschnaufpause eine größere war. Schaut man sich jedoch den 5 Jahreschart an, hat der Bitcoin mit über 3.000 Euro trotzdem enorm an Wert zugelegt. Da ist es ganz normal, dass es auch große Rücksetzer gibt.

Wir können Schwarzseher zustimmen. Eine Verschnaufpause tut dem Bitcoin ganz gut.

Der große Fall auf die ca. 2.700 Euro ist auf zwei größere Ereignisse zurückzuführen. Zum einen die Ankündigung von China, dass alle großen Kryptowährungen bis Ende September bzw. bis Ende Oktober schließen müssen und zum Anderen ein Interview von JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, der in dem Interview stark gegen Bitcoin hetzte, diesen als Betrug bezeichnete und mit der Tulpen-Blase verglich . Darauf hin fiel der Bitcoin bis auf 2.700 Euro. Das interessante an der Geschichte: kurz darauf wurde JP Morgan selbst dabei erwischt, wie sie große Bitcoin-Käufe tätigten. JP Morgan Securities und Morgan Stanley kauften am Freitag Bitcoin im Wert von rund drei Millionen Euro. Auch Goldman Sachs und Barclays kauften an diesem Tag Bitcoin in großen Summen günstig ein. Das stützte natürlich den Preis, wodurch sich dieser wieder über 3.000 Euro einpendelte.

Wie es weitergeht bleibt abzuwarten. Besonders technische Neuerungen wie das Lightning-Netzwerk können den Bitcoin in neue Höhen bringen (Prognose Bitcoin).
