Bitcoin Profitability Calculator – BTC Mining Profit Calculator
Enter your set up information in the form below. Do not enter commas, only dots for decimal separator.
Nothing guaranteed, of course this is only a rough estimate!
Do not enter commas, only dots for decimal separator. You can also calculate rented mining by setting “Power consumption” to 0 and “Cost of mining hardware” to the rent per time frame. Default values are for a system of four 6870s.
Estimate Strategy
Extrapolating bitcoin difficulty or price is pure voodoo. It is much easier to predict the relationship of the two parameters in form of the Mining Factor. The Mining Factor 100 is the value in USD of the bitcoins you can generate if you let a 100MHash/s miner run for 24 hours. If the Mining Factor 100 rises above $2 or so everybody buys mining equipment and thus increases difficulty. If it falls people will stop mining eventually. The estimate starts with the current Mining Factor and decreases it exponentially such that the decrease accounts for the factor decline per year. Please note that a profit/loss by holding the coins is not accounted for in this estimate.

Please let me know if you want me to add a feature or if you have any ideas for how I can improve this Bitcoin converter.
The Bitcoin Converter Began with BTC and mBTC
I noticed that several people found my original Bitcoin Converter when searching for a way to convert from mBTC to BTC and BTC to USD. While this is an extremely simple Bitcoin conversion, I figured I’d create this BTC converter just in case someone really wanted it. So, here it is, my BTC and mBTC (and now, bits and Satoshis and USD and EUR and GBP) converter. We use the CryptoCompare Price Index for every USD, CAD, EUR, and GBP conversion. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for improving the Bitcoin converter.
New Bitcoin Unit: Bits
We recently added support for any Bitcoin conversion to or from bits! Bits are one millionth of one Bitcoin or one thousandth of one mBTC. A bit is the same thing as a μBTC or a microbitcoin. Enjoy!
New Currency (9/2/14): USD
You can now convert to and from US dollars with the BTC converter (in addition to Bitcoin, mBTC, and bits). This is perfect for the conversion that everyone needs: BTC to USD. The exchange rate is from CryptoCompare. This Bitcoin converter just keeps getting better!
New Bitcoin Unit (10/1/14): Satoshi
We’ve added the Satoshi to the Bitcoin calculator. The Satoshi is currently the smallest unit of Bitcoin available. There are 100 million of them in one full Bitcoin. All other units (mBTC, bits, USD) are still available, so there are tons of Bitcoin conversion pairs to choose from. Satoshi to BTC? We’ve got that. Want to convert from the Satoshi to USD? You can! This Bitcoin converter is now extremely versatile.
New Currency (3/4/15): EUR
We recently added support for the Euro! Now you can use this calculator to do Bitcoin conversions like BTC to EUR and EUR to BTC. You could even convert something like EUR to USD and see what the rate looks like using Bitcoin as the base currency.
New Altcoins (2/7/16): ETH and LTC
The Bitcoin converter is now an altcoin converter as well! We’ve added support for some of the most popular alternative cryptocurrencies, Ethereum and Litecoin. You can find them by checking the box that says “Show Altcoins” and start converting instantly. If you want to convert from ETH to BTC, we’ve got your back. Or if you need a calculator for Ethereum to Bitcoin, we can do that too. Let us know what altcoin we should add next!
New Altcoin (8/7/2017): Bitcoin Cash
Now that Bitcoin officially forked, I added Bitcoin Cash (also known as Bcash, BCH, and BCC) to the list. For now, I’ll be a primary currency (meaning you don’t have to check the “Show Altcoins” box to see it). But if BCH crashes over time as many expect, I’ll move it into the altcoins area to reduce clutter.
So go ahead! Try out a BCH to BTC conversion and see how much extra value you may have lying around in your old Bitcoin wallets.
Bitcoin Mining Calculator
Got your shiny new ASIC miner? Wondering when it will pay off? If you enter your hash rate below, this page will calculate your expected earnings in both Bitcoins and dollars over various time periods (day, week, and month). It will not attempt to extrapolate difficulty or price changes -- it provides only instantaneous calculations (how much you'd make if all conditions remained as they were right now).
Next difficulty retarget occurs at block 526175.0 (eta 8.1 days): 4.31333402723e+12 / +0.1% [est.]

Bitcoin Mining Profit Calculator
Why Our Calculator is the Most Accurate
There are many factors that affect your mining profitability. Two of the main factors that influence your profitability are: the Bitcoin price and the total network hash rate.
The Bitcoin network hash rate is growing at a rate of 0.4527678% per day. This means if you buy 50 TH/s of mining hardware your total share of the network will go DOWN every day compared to the total network hash rate.
Our calculator assumes the 0.4527678% daily increase in network hash rate that has been the average daily increase over the past 6 months.
Without factoring in this growth, most Bitcoin mining calculators show results that appear MUCH, MUCH more profitable than reality.
The Bitcoin Price
Even though the network hash rate will cause your share of the network hash power to go down, the Bitcoin price can help make up some of these losses.
The Bitcoin price is rising at a slightly lesser 0.3403% per day over the past year. We suggest you enter a custom Bitcoin price into our calculator based on what you expect the average price to be over the next year.
What our Calculator Assumes
Since our calculator only projects one year out, we assume the block reward to be 12.5. We also use the current Bitcoin price in our calculations, but you can change the Bitcoin price to anything you'd like to get better data.
Satoshi to Bitcoin
What is a Satoshi?
Each bitcoin (BTC) is divisible to the 8th decimal place, so each BTC can be split into 100,000,000 units. Each unit of bitcoin, or 0.00000001 bitcoin, is called a satoshi. A Satoshi is the smallest unit of Bitcoin.
How many Satoshis are in a Bitcoin?
There are 100,000,000 satoshi in a BTC.
What is this site?
Satoshi to Bitcoin is a Bitcoin converter/calculator. Right now, we offer two converters: Satoshi to BTC and BTC to Satoshi.
Bitcoin Mining Calculator
Bitcoin Calculator Usage
All you need in order to make the Bitcoin Calculator display a result is to supply the speed of your mining hardware. In this simplest form the calculator will use the current Bitcoin difficulty, block value and USD/BTC rate for the calculations. However, the accuracy of the Bitcoin mining calculator improves the more honest information you supply.
Interpreting the Bitcoin Calculator Values
The mining results are based on multiple changing factors and are just valid for the given values, thus it's best practice to rely on the Bitcoin mining calculator for a short time frame only. While the Bitcoin difficulty has almost always risen after the expected validity of 14 days and thus might be somewhat forseeable, the Bitcoin exchange rate has proven to highly fluctuate, which might lead to a dramatically different outcome. Because of this dynamics we are only displaying results for at most one month.

An Update About Our Work in 2017
2017 was an exiting year and although we have been quiet, much has happened in the background. To get an update on what is new at BitHope and what campaigns we managed to support, have a look at this article.

Successfully Completed Campaigns!
Another two campaigns just got completed! Due to the recent price rise of bitcoin, the financial goals were surpassed. Through BitHope.org, not only speculators experienced the price rise, but also charities.
Donors and Partners
we are very grateful
to all of you that support
our campaigns by giving hope
Add Your Campaign to BitHope.org
One of the main objectives of the BitHope Foundation is to help non-profit organizations (NPOs) to benefit from a modern, international source of funding - bitcoin, and to promote their campaigns throughout the Bitcoin community (and beyond). These are the four stages that we must go through together, in order to add your campaign to BitHope.org:
1. Please contact us! We will be glad to learn more about your idea and determine whether it is suitable for our website.
2. If we decide that your campaign is appropriate, we will ask you to complete the short application form, which is available below. This will provide us with important information about your NPO’s organizational structure, goals, and completed campaigns.
3. The completed form will be reviewed by the BitHope Foundation team. After a favorable decision on our part, we will send you a draft contract that should be signed (and stamped) by an authorized representative of the legal entity. The contract is subject to discussion and can be modified in order to be made acceptable by both sides.
4. After the contract is signed by both parties - the campaign is announced at BitHope.org!
If you're not an NPO, but another type of legal person - please contact us. Our goal is to help as many charitable causes as possible and we are willing to be flexible, without abusing the trust of our donors or making any compromises with the proper spending of the generated funds.
